Job summary

Brimbank City Council invites casual Swim Teachers to join our Leisure Centres team, delivering Swim Lessons across the new Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre and Sunshine Leisure Centre. You will teach and assess participants under the RLSSA Swim and Survive program, across multiple programs, with shifts seven days a week.

Ideal candidates hold a Water Safety licence (AUSTSWIM/LSV/ASCTA), CPR, WWCC, and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• Current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety licence (e.g. AUSTSWIM, LSV, ASCTA).
• CPR certificate.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employee).
• Extension qualifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Swim Lessons and assess participants in RLSSA Swim and Survive program.
• Teach across different aquatic programs at two leisure centres, Sunshine Leisure Centre and Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre.
• Work on casual shifts seven days a week, including school hours, after school hours and weekends.
