Job summary

Community Support Incorporated (CSI) provides in-home care across South Australia for people living with disability or aging populations. We support clients to live independently in their communities with a values-driven, people-first approach.

As a Support Worker, you’ll receive full training, work with high‑needs clients, and access a casual to permanent pathway in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Cert III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) is required.
  • Own a smartphone compatible with company systems and apps.
  • Hold a current driving license and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home personal care and domestic assistance.
  • Transport clients to appointments or activities.
  • Deliver social and community support to maintain independence and quality of life.

About You & The Role

At CSI, we’re all about empowering people to live life their way- and our Support Workers are at the heart of that mission.

As a Support Worker, You’ll Be Providing Meaningful, In‑home Support That Helps Clients Maintain Independence And Quality Of Life. Every Day Is Different, And Your Work Will Include Things Like

  • Personal care
  • Domestic assistance
  • Transport to appointments or activities
  • Social and community support

You might also support clients with complex needs – but don’t worry, we’ll give you all the training you need to feel confident and capable.

What You’ll Need
  • A caring, reliable, and compassionate attitude
  • A personal smartphone (for shift‑related tasks)
  • A safe, reliable vehicle
We’re Looking for Support Workers Who:
  • Hold min Cert III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care)
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting people living with a disability
  • Bring previous experience in disability or aged care (preferred)
  • Own a smartphone compatible with company systems and apps
  • Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or Working with Children Check (or are willing to apply)
  • Have a Police Check issued within the last 6 months
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate
  • Have a valid driver’s licence and a roadworthy, insured vehicle
