Job summary

Lycée Condorcet Sydney is building a strong pool of qualified teachers to provide casual teaching cover throughout the school year. We welcome applications from teachers who can work across Year 6 to Year 12 in subjects such as Arts, Music, French, German, Spanish, Mathematics, and IB subjects.

English-speaking and French-speaking teachers are encouraged to apply, with bilingual English/French skills highly regarded.

Qualifications

• NESA accreditation is required.
• Experience teaching Year 6 to Year 12 across secondary subjects.
• Qualified and experienced in their subject area.
• Able to adapt quickly to different classes, year levels and learning needs.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and committed to providing a positive learning experience.
• Understanding of IB and/or French education system where relevant.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent with secondary teaching experience.
• Exposure to teaching in an international school is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide casual teaching cover across Secondary Year 6–12 according to timetable and school needs.
• Teach one or more of the listed subjects and adapt instruction to diverse student backgrounds.

We are looking to build a strong pool of qualified teachers who are available to provide casual teaching cover throughout the school year. Current LCS Secondary teachers are also encouraged to express their interest in taking on additional casual teaching opportunities, where their timetable and availability allow.

We are particularly interested in teachers with experience teaching one or more of the following subjects:

• Physical Education
• Biology
• IB subjects

• Have an understanding of, or experience with, the International Baccalaureate (IB) and/or French education system, where relevant
• Bachelor\u2019s degree in education or equivalent, with previous experience teaching to Secondary School students (up to and including Year 12)
