Job summary

Ballarat Grammar is seeking expressions of interest from qualified health professionals to provide casual nursing services to students and staff across the School. This is a casual relief role with an hourly rate of $56.74–$58.36, depending on experience, inclusive of casual loading.

Mandatory: APHRA Registered Nurse (Division 1) with at least 5 years post-qualification, plus current First Aid certificates HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011, 22578VIC and 22556VIC.

We are seeking expressions of interest from professional and compassionate individuals to provide health support and nursing services to students and staff across the School on a casual basis. This role may also be required to support the broader School community during special events or periods of crisis.

Mandatory qualifications and certificates

• Current APHRA registration- Registered Nurse (Division 1) - Minimum 5 years post qualification
• Current and valid First Aid Certificates, as follows:
  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
  • HLTAID011- Provide First Aid
  • 22578VIC – Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis (or equivalent)
  • 22556VIC - Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace (or equivalent)

Skills, attributes and experience

• Extensive knowledge of first aid procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent common illnesses.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to display compassion, patience and flexibility.
• A proven ability to work effectively, constructively and collaboratively within a team.
