Job summary

The Great Southern Hotel Sydney (GSH-Sydney) is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Room Attendant on a casual basis to join our team. This role is physically demanding and requires energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include servicing and cleaning allocated rooms, stocking the housekeeping trolley, and handling amenities per OH&S standards. The ideal candidate will have 12 months of experience in a 3–5 star establishment and be adaptable

We are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Hotel Room Attendant on a casual basis to join our team. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's stay an enjoyable one. This is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.

About the role

As our Room Attendant your responsibilities will include:

Servicing and cleaning allocated guest rooms

Stocking and maintaining the housekeeping trolley

Handling all amenities, chemicals, and equipment according to specific instructions and OH&S standards and undertaking special cleaning projects as directed

About you

The successful candidate must:

Have a keen eye for detail
Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
Be flexible and available for work across a 7-day roster with an early morning shift or evening shift.
Have knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
Be committed to providing extraordinary service
Have good communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum 12 months experience in a 3-to-5-star establishment
