Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join their Casual Nursing Pool. This role offers flexible shifts across inpatient units in medical, surgical, aged care and mental health settings.

As a Casual Pool RN, you will provide person-centred care across clinical settings, collaborate with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to safe and effective nursing practice. Prior experience in relevant specialties is preferred.

Qualifications

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Recent clinical experience relevant to the position specialty.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication skills.
Understanding of team nursing and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to prioritise and organise workload in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Delivering safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and handover.
Working collaboratively with medical, allied health and support teams.
Promoting a positive patient experience and maintaining high clinical practice standards.
