Alzheimer’s Queensland – Brisbane South is seeking Casual Registered Nurses to join Garden City Aged Care Centre. You will provide person‑centred, evidence‑based clinical care to residents across weekday, weekend and night shifts, with casual hours and penalties.

The role offers $62.75 per hour plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging. You’ll work with a supportive multidisciplinary team, maintain documentation, follow infection control protocols, and contribute to quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current RN with active AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of aged care standards, legislation and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to deliver compassionate, person-centred care respecting residents' dignity.

Responsabilités

• Deliver nursing care, including assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and vigilantly monitor responses.
• Perform regular assessments and trigger timely actions.
• Develop individualized care plans aligned with residents' goals.
• Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals and care staff.
• Maintain precise, timely documentation per standards.
• Open disclosure and incident reporting as required.
• Coordinate follow-up tasks like pathology requests and results.
• Adhere to infection control protocols at all times.
• Drive care delivery improvements and innovations.
