Job summary

ForHealth Group in Deception Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our casual pool, delivering patient-focused care in a collaborative, supportive environment.

You will work with GPs and a multidisciplinary team, administer immunisations, wound care, triage, and health coaching, while upholding our values of teamwork and excellence.

AHPRA registration as RN or EN, plus experience in primary care or acute settings, are essential; strong communication and time management are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in General Practice or an acute care setting is preferred.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A warm, patient-focused attitude and team-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Administer immunisations and manage post-vaccine observations.
• Triage and prioritise emergency situations.
• Support GPs with minor surgical procedures.
• Provide wound care, including dressings and suturing.
• Educate and coach patients to support health outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful team culture.
