Job summary

AHS Nursing Agency in Sydney is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to provide in-home and community care across NSW. Shifts may be one-off or ongoing, with visits ranging from 1–2 hours to longer engagements, including continence and wound care assessments.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration, First Aid and CPR certificates, and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check. A NSW driver’s licence and own vehicle are desirable.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• First Aid and CPR certificates.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
• Bachelor of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Experience in nasogastric tube care, tracheostomy care, ventilator care, wound care.
• Ability to provide comprehensive nursing services in the community setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with strong communication skills.
• Experience in Community Health/Aged Care/Disability is highly regarded.

• Candidates must be able to perform continence and wound care assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Nursing and a minimum of 1 year experience working as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in a Community RN role.
• Experience in nasogastric tube care, tracheostomy care, ventilator care, medication management, wound care, suctioning, and feeding machine.
• Ability to provide comprehensive and coordinated nursing services in the general practice setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team with highly developed communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in Aged Care or Community Services.
