Job summary

Prestige Inhome Care in Sydney is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for casual overnight shifts delivering high-quality clinical care to clients in their homes across Sydney's Eastern and Inner suburbs.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, wound and catheter care, and administer medications while liaising with GPs and the Case Manager. You’ll support clients with personal care, maintain records, and participate in family reviews to track progress.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certificate obtained in the last 12 months.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Full Australian driver’s licence and a reliable insured car.
• Ability to travel up to 30 minutes between clients.
• Solid post-registration clinical experience across multiple settings.
• Experience with dementia and cardiac/respiratory conditions.

At Prestige, our nurses help people live safely, comfortably and independently at home. We're growing our team across Sydney's Eastern and Inner suburbs and want experienced Registered Nurses who are ready to make a real difference, one visit at a time. These active, overnight shifts will be caring for clients at the end of life phase.

What you'll do:

Working autonomously in the community, you'll deliver high-quality clinical care to a diverse range of clients with ongoing health needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
• Deliver wound care, catheter care and other technical nursing procedures
• Administer medications within your scope of practice
• Monitor client wellbeing and recommend care improvements to the Case Manager
• Support clients with personal care, social support and community access as needed
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical records and liaise with GPs, specialists and allied health professionals
• Participate in client reviews with clients and their families to track progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with the wider care team to ensure safe, person-centred care

What you'll bring

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Solid post-registration experience, ideally across several clinical settings
• Recent, demonstrated skills in wound and catheter care
• Experience caring for people with dementia, and with neurological, cardiac and respiratory conditions
• A CPR certificate from the last 12 months
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
• A full Australian driver's licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured car
• Good availability and comfort travelling up to around 30 minutes between clients
