Job summary

Civeo Facility Management is seeking qualified Refrigeration Technicians to join our casual relief workforce across Queensland. These roles provide leave coverage and are designed for flexible assignments across our village network, including Coppabella and surrounding areas.

You'll work in field locations, covering remote mining villages with 7-day swing patterns and on-call duties. A hands-on role with safety-first practices and opportunities to gain experience across multiple sites is offered.

Qualifications

• QBCC licence required to operate in Queensland.
• LVR/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain annually.
• Driver's Licence – Australian C Class (manual).
• Experience with refrigeration, cold rooms and commercial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned, preventive and breakdown refrigeration maintenance.
• Fault-find and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cold rooms, split/ducted AC systems and heat pump hot water systems.
• Perform fault finding, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with contractors.
• Support site maintenance and uphold strong safety standards.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours while on swing.

Civeo Facility Management (part of Civeo Corporation) is seeking qualified Refrigeration Technicians to join our casual relief workforce across Queensland.

These positions are specifically designed to provide leave coverage across our village network and form part of a genuine casual talent pool. Work is offered as operational requirements arise, primarily to cover annual leave and other planned absences across our sites. While coverage opportunities may be recurring throughout the year, these roles are not casual-to-permanent positions and there is no guarantee of ongoing or full-time employment.

We aim to work around your availability, with assignments typically operating on 7-day swing patterns.

This is a hands-on role where you'll spend your time in the field, travelling across multiple remote mining villages including Coppabella, Nebo, Dysart, Moranbah and surrounding locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned, preventative and breakdownrefrigeration maintenance

About you

• Current Queensland QBCC
• Current LVR/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain andmaintain annually)
• Current Australian C Class (manual) Driver's Licence
• Experience in refrigeration, coldroomsand commercial HVAC systems
• Experience in remote, mining or facilities environmentsis highly regarded
• Strong communicationskills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Committed tomaintaininga safe,inclusiveand high-performing work environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance
• Valid working rights within Australia
