Job summary
QML Pathology in Ingham is seeking a casual Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist) to join a friendly local team. You will collect blood and non-blood samples, provide compassionate patient service, and help ensure timely test processing across clinics.
You’ll work on a roster from Monday to Friday 07:00–15:30 with weekend options, travel between clinics, and access fully paid training and mentoring to grow your career in pathology collection within Australia’s leading provider network.
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy/Pathology collection experience or willingness to train
- Excellent customer service and empathy
- Organised with strong time management and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel between multiple clinics and hold a valid driver’s licence
- WWCC or willingness to obtain one
Responsibilities
- Collect blood and non-blood samples with care
- Keep meticulous records for each patient and sample
- Deliver documentation within turnaround times
- Prepare and package specimens for transport/testing
- Liaise with customers, clinic staff and couriers
