QML Pathology in Cairns region is seeking a Pathology Collector to join the team. You will collect blood and other samples while delivering a positive, professional and caring experience to every patient.

The role requires a Certificate III in Pathology Collection and may suit registered nurses with phlebotomy experience. You will work Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, with shifts from early morning to early evening, and participate in a six-week paid training program.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Pathology Collection required.
• Previous nursing experience beneficial.
• Experience in pathology collection including blood samples.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with accuracy and care.
• Provide friendly, professional patient interactions.
• Assist with specimen packaging and documentation.
• Support daily operations at the collection site.
