Job summary

YMCA Albany Creek Outside School Hours Care is recruiting energetic Educators to join our casual team for before school, after school and holiday programs. You’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children with a mix of structured and play-based activities.

The role focuses on supervision, engagement and promoting wellbeing and friendships through play. Requirements include Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or studying), current First Aid/CPR and a

Qualifications

• Hold or be studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• A strong sense of responsibility and inclusivity for all children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities.
• Create a welcoming, safe and inclusive space for all children.
• Promote wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.
