George & Matilda Eyecare in Ramsgate, NSW is seeking an experienced Casual Optical Dispenser to join our community-focused practice where patient care comes first and relationships matter. You will advise patients on eyewear, recommend lens and frame solutions, and support travel to nearby practices as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous optical dispensing experience (essential).
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with patients.

• Willingness to travel to nearby George & Matilda Eyecare practices when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with eyewear selections and lens/frame recommendations.
• Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame fit to ensure optimal comfort and vision.
• Support patients throughout their eyewear journey to deliver an exceptional experience.
• Cover additional hours on a casual basis and travel as needed to other clinics.

About the Role

As an Optical Dispenser, you'll play a key role in helping patients look, feel, and see their best.

You'll work closely with patients throughout their eyewear journey, providing expert advice, recommending lens and frame solutions, and ensuring every patient receives an exceptional experience.

This is a casual position with the potential to cover additional hours as required.

• Willingness to travel and support other nearby George & Matilda Eyecare practices
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport highly regarded
• Availability across weekdays and Saturdays as required
