Job summary

Bupa Optical in Burwood is seeking a casual Optical Dispenser to join our store team. You will interpret optical prescriptions, fit and service frames and lenses, and contribute to sales targets and promotions.

The role supports store operations while delivering world-class customer service. Ideal candidates have retail experience, knowledge of frame and lens options, and are comfortable with frame adjustments and repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a retail assistant or optical dispenser preferred.
• Provide recommendations on frame selections and lens options.
• Assist in frame adjustment and repairs as required.
• Support Store Manager with day-to-day activities and stock/merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class service and drive sales through interpreting prescriptions.
• Meet sales targets and execute promotions and campaigns.
• Monitor job progress and update customers on delays.
• Maintain customer records per guidelines.
