Job summary

TASK at Excelsior Public School is seeking a Casual Educator to support children aged 5 to 12 before and after school, with full days available during school holidays. Shifts rotate, offering flexible work that fits around study or other commitments.

You will help supervise, support routines, deliver inclusive programming, build relationships with families and school staff, and work with a team to keep the space calm and respectful while putting child safety first.

Qualifications

• WWCC is required.
• Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO) required.
• First Aid (HLTAID012) and CPR certified.
• Experience in OOSH, childcare or education is a bonus but not essential.
• Flexible casual shifts that fit around your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and interacting with children aged 5 to 12 in enjoyable, safe and purposeful ways.
• Supporting routines like drop-off, snack, homework and play.
• Helping deliver creative and inclusive programming.
• Building strong relationships with families and school staff.
• Working with your team to keep the space calm and respectful.
