Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Casual Medical Assistant at our Craigmore practice to support nurses and GPs, handling reception, admin and patient care with a focus on service excellence. You will help stock clinical areas, sterilise instruments, document care and provide a warm first point of contact for patients, with flexibility and strong communication.

The role suits someone with Certificate 3/4 in health services or early nursing study, Australia work eligibility, WWCC, and immunization

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant or Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting (or first year of Bachelor of Nursing) completed.
• Flexibility with availability.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to multi-task and prioritize.
• Working With Children Check Clearance.
• Evidence of routine immunization serology.
• Eligibility to work in Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Clinical areas are adequately stocked and replenish stock before depletion.
• Clean and sterilise instruments and maintain/replace when not in working order.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Document all patient care activities.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the first point of contact for patients.
• Provide admin support.
