Job summary

B&E Foods in Blacktown is seeking a reliable Butcher to join our production team. This casual role focuses on processing red meat including pork, beef and lamb, with opportunities to support other departments.

You will work Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, upholding strict food safety, hygiene and quality standards while cooperating with supervisors and teammates to hit daily targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in butchery or meat processing.
• Strong knife-handling skills.
• Able to work in a chilled environment.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, trim and bone red meat according to production needs.
• Operate meat processing and cutting machinery safely.
• Perform bulk slicing, portioning and packing of meat products.
• Weigh, label and prepare meat for packaging and distribution.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Work with supervisors to meet daily production targets.
