En Masse Agency, a boutique digital marketing agency based in Sydney, is seeking a casual Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day client work across social media, content and agency operations.

This junior role suits someone early in their marketing career or a student in a related field, who is creative, highly organized and eager to gain practical agency experience. You’ll work closely with the founder and gain exposure to multiple clients and projects.

Qualifications

• Studying toward or recently completed a qualification in marketing, communications, media or a related field is desirable.
• Some practical experience in social media, content creation or marketing—employment, internships, freelance work or personal projects.
• Confidence using Canva, CapCut & Adobe Suite.
• Proficient understanding of Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Strong written communication and caption-writing skills.
• Basic short-form video editing experience.

Responsibilities

• Creating and adapting social media content in Canva, CapCut & Adobe Suite.
• Writing and refining social media captions.
• Scheduling content and preparing ad-creative & posts for client approval.
• Assisting with content calendars and monthly planning.
• Researching content ideas, trends and competitor activity.
• Organising client files, assets and content libraries.
• Supporting content shoots and gathering behind-the-scenes footage.
• Making basic edits to short-form video content.
• Assisting with reporting, presentations and general agency administration.
• Completing quality checks before content is sent to clients or published.

We’re a small but growing agency working closely with clients across hospitality, health, wellness, retail and professional services. The Role

We’re looking for a casual Marketing Assistant to support the day-to‑day delivery of client work across social media, content and general agency operations. This is a junior role suited to someone early in their marketing career or studying a relevant discipline who is creative, highly organised and keen to gain practical agency experience. You’ll work closely with the founder and have exposure to a variety of clients, platforms and projects.

The role will begin at approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the potential for hours and responsibilities to grow as the agency expands.

Key responsibilities may include

• Creating and adapting social media content in Canva, CapCut & Adobe Suite

• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Business, Google Drive and social scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Planable or similar) is desirable
• Familiarity with CRM software is desirableAgency or client‑facing experience is helpful but not essential

Key Requirements

• Sydney-based and available to attend occasional in‑person workdays and content shoots
• Available for approximately 10-15 hours per week to begin with
• Excellent attention to detail, including spelling, formatting and brand consistency
• Reliable and able to meet agreed deadlines
• Comfortable managing several small tasks across different clients
• Proactive and willing to ask questions, take feedback and learn quickly
• Able to work independently once a task and expectations have been explained
• Genuinely interested in digital marketing, social media and building a career in the industry
• Access to a reliable laptop and internet connection
• Full Australian working rights
