Job summary

Adventist Aged Care Sydney in Kings Langley NSW is seeking a casual Maintenance worker to deliver timely upkeep of buildings, equipment and grounds. The role is 2–3 days per week and is not a full-time position, offering project-based opportunities.

You will join a small team and report to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring responsive, quality maintenance. Key tasks include carpentry-based jobs, routine maintenance, and safe handling of chemicals, gases and flammable products.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate preferred.
• Experience in general maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures with chemicals and gases.
• Willingness to learn on the job and follow instructions.
• Capable of working as part of a small maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance jobs including carpentry tasks.
• Take on project work and work autonomously.
• Respond to maintenance requests with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain and repair equipment and grounds in a safe environment.
• Perform routine maintenance under supervision when required.
• Other maintenance duties as required.
