Job summary

Centurion is seeking an experienced Casual Linehaul Driver to join our Wingfield team. You’ll operate triple road train combinations on long-distance linehaul runs between Adelaide and Darwin, transporting general and refrigerated freight.

The role will involve a mix of 2UP and Solo driving, depending on operational requirements. If you take pride in your driving, have strong road train experience and are looking for casual linehaul opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence with proven experience operating road trains.
• Experience in long-distance linehaul driving.
• 2UP driving experience is highly desirable.
• Valid BFM accreditation and Dangerous Goods Licence (DGL).
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to work independently on solo runs and as part of a 2UP team.

• Driving triple road train combinations on long-distance linehaul runs between Adelaide and Darwin.
• Undertaking a mix of 2UP and Solo driving to transport general and refrigerated freight.
• Ensuring loads are secure and all safety, compliance and operational requirements are met.
• Conducting pre-start and vehicle checks and following fatigue management requirements.
• Maintaining accurate trip records and communicating with dispatch.
• Working cooperatively with other drivers during 2UP operations to ensure safe and efficient outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving triple road train combinations on long-distance linehaul runs between Adelaide and Darwin
• Undertaking a mix of 2UP and Solo driving to safely and efficiently transport general and refrigerated freight
• Ensuring loads are secure and all safety, compliance and operational requirements are met
• Conducting pre-start and vehicle checks and following fatigue management requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Current MC licence with proven experience operating road trains
• Previous linehaul and long-distance driving experience
• Previous 2UP experience (highly desirable)
• Valid BFM accreditation and Dangerous Goods Licence (DGL)
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance
• The ability to work independently on solo runs and effectively as part of a 2UP team on extended interstate runs
• A reliable work history and professional driving record
