Job summary

Wollondilly Shire Council's Library team in Sydney's southern fringe is seeking a Casual Library Assistant to deliver high-quality library services, support reading, and promote lifelong learning within the community.

The role requires a valid Working with Children Check, a Class C Driver's Licence, and flexibility to roster evening and weekend shifts across Monday to Sunday. Join a supportive team and help enhance community connectivity and access to library programs.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:

• Current Class C Drivers Licence and a valid Working with Children Check (paid employment).
• Ability and commitment to work in Council’s customer service point rosters, including rostered evening and weekend shifts across the span of Monday-Sunday.
• Demonstrated experience of working well within a team environment.
• Ability to follow instruction, work autonomously, and communicate professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial transactions in a customer service setting.
