Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor to deliver high quality classes at our Aquatic and Leisure Centres. The role requires a current Swim Instructor qualification, CPR, and WWCC, with strong communication and customer service skills.

You will work across multiple council Swim Centres, with weekend penalties and casual loading included. The position is located in the Cumberland LGA, with travel between centres and a requirement to meet pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Current Swim Instructor qualification.
• HLTAID009 CPR certification.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality Learn to Swim classes.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to participants.
• Adhere to council policies and safety procedures.
• Assist with addressing customer enquiries and complaints as required.
