Job summary

Caulfield Grammar School seeks casual Instrumental and Vocal Music Tutors to join our thriving music program across multiple campuses in Melbourne. Tutors will teach, perform, and nurture students’ musical growth within a comprehensive year-round program.

Expressions of interest are welcome; availability and instrument(s) taught should be specified. Travel between campuses is desirable but not essential. Successful applicants will be contacted when vacancies arise.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring instruments within a school or youth program.
• Ability to engage students across ages and abilities.
• Willingness to contribute to the broader music program including ensemble involvement.

Responsibilities

• Foster young talent and support students’ musical growth.
• Model engaging teaching practices to motivate musicians.
• Collaborate with the Head of Instruments and campus staff to enhance the program.
• Ensure adherence to Child Safety policies and obtain WWCC prior to commencement.
