Job summary

Centacare is seeking casual Support Workers to provide flexible, person-centred in-home support to QCSS clients in Moreton Bay. You will be part of a values-based organisation offering travel time, kilometres reimbursement and paid training, with shifts in a 8am–5pm window and a focus on dignity and independence.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III or higher in relevant fields, with a passion for helping others, strong communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or related field.
• Experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles.
• Genuine passion for helping people live independently; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, meal prep).
• Support clients to maintain independence and achieve personal goals.
• Facilitate social and community participation through companionship and outings.
• Transport clients and assist with shopping, errands and appointments using your own vehicle.
• Build respectful, trusting relationships while promoting dignity, choice, privacy and independence.
