Job summary

The City of Port Phillip is seeking a casual Immunisation Nurse to join our Health Services Team in Melbourne. You will administer vaccines at community settings, ensure cold chain integrity, and provide compassionate immunisation advice with strict confidentiality.

You will work with a supportive team, maintain high safety standards, and contribute to public health programs across community venues.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Current knowledge of immunisation best-practice and CPR accreditation.
• Working with Children’s Check.
• Satisfactory National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines in accordance with the National Immunisation Program and council policies.
• Maintain cold chain management and safety standards.
• Provide evidence-based immunisation advice to clients.
• Manage emergencies in line with legislation and best practice.
