About Country Club

Country Club Tasmania, located in a parkland setting, is Launceston's premier choice for holiday accommodation, dining, and entertainment. With 5 restaurants, 4 bars, 88 hotel rooms, 16 suites, 74 villa units, conference and banquet facilities, casino gaming operations, an 18-hole golf course, and sporting and recreational facilities, we guarantee this position will keep you busy and engaged!

What you can expect in a day in the role:

In this casual role as a Housekeeper, you will support the critical functions of the Resort and Villas by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our guest rooms.

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpets and mop floors
  • Restock Supplies
  • Inspect and report any issues regarding room maintenance or cleanliness

What you will bring to the role:

A successful applicant will have a can-do attitude and excellent time management skills.

You also have:

  • Passion for customer service
  • High attention to detail
  • Be able to meet the physical demands of the job. All new employees must satisfy a fitness-for-work assessment
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Excellent availability being able to work across a seven-day roster
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience would be highly regarded
  • A driver's license

A successful candidate appointed to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening
