About the job

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively – with all training and tools provided.
• Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Times Available

• Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting at 8:00 am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour; Saturday: $38.78 per hour; Sunday: $45.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
