Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking a compassionate Home Care Support Worker (Casual) to service Portland and surrounding areas. You will deliver client-centred support in clients’ homes or community settings, assisting with daily living and community participation.

The role prioritises safety, timely communication, and adherence to care plans. Applicants should have relevant certificates, CPR/BLS, police check, and a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, Home & Community or Youth.
Current CPR/BLS Certificate.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Police Check within the last 6 months.
Vaccination status per Healthcare Australia requirements.
Australian Driver’s Licence (unrestricted).
Registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care in clients' homes or community settings.
Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene and meals.
Support with medication as per care plan and training.
Respond to health deteriorations by contacting emergency services or supervisor.
Help create a safe home environment and support community engagement.
