Job summary

Trippas White Group is seeking an experienced Casual Functions Supervisor for our Melbourne CBD catering team. The role focuses on delivering excellent service across evening events, from sandwiches to sit-down dinners, while maintaining high food quality and service standards.

Reporting to the FOH Manager, you will lead event operations, coach staff, ensure RSA compliance, and collaborate to meet client expectations. This is a casual, evening-focused position with a Monday–Friday roster.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for anexperienced Casual Functions Supervisor to support our Catering Team atone of Melbourne's most prestigious corporate locations in the Melbourne CBD.

Reporting to the FOH Manager, you will use yourleadership and planning capabilities to ensure the seamless delivery ofmultiple events each day, ranging from sandwich lunches to formal sit-downdinners and high-end cocktail functions, while maintaining exceptional foodquality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Managingday-to-day events.
• Encouragingteam members to develop their skills through ongoing training andperformance development.
• Workingclosely with the FOH Manager to ensure all legislative requirements andcompany standards are met, minimising risk and maximising businessoutcomes.
• EnsuringResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements are upheld at allrelevant events.
• Workingcollaboratively with the team to ensure customer expectations are met andexceeded.

About You

You will demonstrate:

• Significantexperience leading teams within the hospitality industry.
• Astrong customer service focus, supported by excellent communicationskills.
• Well-developedleadership and management capabilities.
• Provenexperience managing people in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibilityto work varying evening hours throughout a Monday to Friday roster.

Please note: This role primarily involves eveningwork, with varying start and finish times throughout the week.
