Job summary

Australian Food and Fibre (AFF) is seeking casual Farm Hands to join our Telleraga Station, 30 minutes west of Moree, NSW. This hands-on role will focus on irrigation support and general farm duties to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work as part of a close-knit team, following safety procedures, operating irrigation equipment and farm machinery, and helping meet daily and seasonal goals. Prior irrigation or farming experience is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Strong work ethic and reliability, especially during peak periods.
• Will ingness to perform physical outdoor tasks.
• Experience with irrigation systems is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Assist with fieldwork such as planting, spraying and harvest prep.
• Operate farm machinery and equipment as directed.
• Report hazards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be a team player and help meet daily and seasonal goals.
