Job summary

MSWA is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for our Hamilton Hill residential facility in Queensland. You will deliver high-quality clinical care, monitor medications, support residents with neurological conditions, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centred, dignified care.

You will conduct assessments, update care plans, assist with wound and catheter care, and support families. AHPRA registration, First Aid, and CPR are required, with NDIs screenings available on request.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as Enrolled Nurse is required.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
• NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care while promoting residents' dignity, choice, and independence.
• Conduct nursing assessments and provide clinical advice and support.
• Monitor and maintain resident care plans and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with Care Support Workers to support daily care needs.
• Monitor medication administration and resident health outcomes.
• Assist with specialised care requirements, including nutritional and medical supports.
• Complete resident observations and report changes in condition.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.

About the RoleAs an Enrolled Nurse at Hamilton Hill, you’ll deliver high‑quality clinical care, support, and supervision for residents living with neurological conditions. You’ll monitor medication administration and care plans, collaborate with onsite Care Support Workers, and contribute to a safe, dignified, and person‑centred environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care while promoting residents' dignity, choice, and independence


• Conduct nursing assessments and provide clinical advice and support


• Monitor and maintain resident care plans and clinical documentation


• Work alongside Care Support Workers to support clients with their daily care needs


• Monitor medication administration and resident health outcomes


• Assist with specialised care requirements, including nutritional and medical supports


• Complete resident observations and report changes in condition


• Collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for residents


• Complete routine and adhoc catheter changes, catheter flushes and management


• Attend to acute and complex wound care


• Complete routine and adhoc enteral tube changes and balloon checks

Must-Haves

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
