Job summary

Affinity Education Group is seeking casual educators to work across multiple centres in the Hornsby and North Shore Area. Choose hours to fit your schedule, with shifts between 6am and 6pm on weekdays and no weekend work.

Earn competitive rates from $32–$37 per hour, with uniform provided, and gain experience across Affinity centres. Opportunity to move into a permanent position and access Affinity Learning Academy programs from Cert 3 to Diploma and leadership courses.

Qualifications

• Completed a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Willing to travel between multiple services and be available on short notice.

• Support educators across different rooms at the centre.
• Engage with children, families and team members.
• Assist with daily centre practices.
• Support educators with children's learning and documentation.

Join our team of casual educators and work across multiple Affinity centres, based in the Hornsby and North Shore Area. Each centre has its own unique community spirit, and is led by an experienced and committed Centre Manager, supported by an Assistant Centre Manager and team of educators.

• A casual position where you choose the hours and days you work to fit in with your schedule!
• Ability to accept shifts via an application easily downloadable to your mobile device – accept shifts any time of the day!
• Work between Monday – Friday within the opening and closing hours of the centres from 6am to 6pm – NO WEEKEND WORK

The Role

You already have:

• Completed a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Willing to travel between multiple services and be available on short notice
• A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in a long day care service
