Job summary

Busy Bees at Fraser Coast in Torquay, Queensland is seeking a passionate Casual Educator to support our team. This casual, part-time role involves helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn and explore.

You will work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, complete essential certifications such as First Aid and WWCC, and contribute to high-quality learning aligned with EYLF and NQS standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current WWVP/Working with Children Check for QLD.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).
