Job summary

Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd is seeking a Casual Educator at Fraser Coast, QLD. The role supports play-based learning, safety, and inclusive care across 6:30am–6:30pm shifts, with opportunities to grow within a global early learning provider.

You will help implement EYLF-aligned activities, build relationships with children and families, and assist with daily routines while upholding Busy Bees values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Able to work across shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Commitment to child safety and Busy Bees values.
• WWCC/Vulnerable People registrations or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.

Casual Educator | $38.71 – $47.68 per hour | Torquay, QLD

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Fraser Coast, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) - Working with Children Check for [QLD. VIC, NSW, SA, WA]
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
