St Pius Outside School Hours Care in Banyo is seeking enthusiastic casual Educators to join our team. The role involves before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 150 children, with up to 15 hours per week and education space within the school grounds.

Casual positions are paid at the standard rate plus 25% casual loading and offer flexible hours that fit around your lifestyle. We welcome qualified and unqualified applicants who are passionate about children's learning and

Qualifications

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko 1-2 & 3-4)
• A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school, after school, and vacation care
• Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
• Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
