Job summary

St Augustine’s Long Day Care + Kindergarten – Augustine Heights, operated by Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, seeks a casual educator to support learning and development in a welcoming service. Availability Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:00pm is required, with the role providing backup and collaborative team support.

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent) or is studying towards a recognised qualification.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Ability to work with children in a play-based learning environment.
• Knowledge of EYLF/QKLG frameworks and quality practice.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging experiences that support learning and wellbeing.
• Provide a safe, welcoming environment for children.
• Support play-based learning aligned with EYLF and QKLG.
