Job summary

Busy Bees is hiring a casual Educator for our Donvale centre. The role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing learning environment with play-based experiences aligned to EYLF. You will support routines, supervision and relationship-building with children, families and colleagues.

Ideal candidates hold a Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be working towards), plus current First Aid, CPR and a VIC Working with Children Check. Casual shifts from 6:30am–6:30pm are available.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded.

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities and supervision of children.

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Donvale, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
