Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education is seeking Casual Educators to support our centres in Coorparoo, Coopers Plains and Brisbane City. This role offers flexible shifts that allow you to nominate your availability while staying connected to early childhood education.

As a Casual Educator, you will work with centre teams to support children's routines, build warm relationships with families, and help create safe, inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Hold, or are currently studying towards, a recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.
• Hold a current Blue Card or are willing to obtain one.
• Have completed National Child Safe Training through Geccko.
• Are reliable, flexible and comfortable working with different teams.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Can travel to Guardian services within your nominated area.

Responsibilities

• Support children throughout daily routines, play and learning experiences.
• Build warm and respectful relationships with children and families.
• Help maintain safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environments.
• Encourage children’s curiosity, confidence and development.
• Adapt confidently to different rooms, teams and centre environments.
• Bring a positive and dependable approach to every shift.
