Job summary

St Philip’s Christian College Saints Academy is seeking a Casual Educator to support before/after school care and vacation care programs. You will provide safe, caring, and stimulating environments that align with My Time, Our Place and ensure children's wellbeing and sense of belonging.

The role emphasizes active supervision, positive relationships, and collaboration with the Director and Educators to deliver high-quality programs.

Qualifications

• Committed to Christian ethos and care for children.
• Valid Working with Children Check required.
• National Foundations of Child Safety training to be provided prior to start.
• Understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting.
• Knowledge of the My Time, Our Place framework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision of children at all times.
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Encourage participation, independence and decision‑making.
• Maintain appropriate staff‑to‑child ratios and supervision practices.
• Assist with engaging activities and program delivery.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as requested.
