Job summary

Affinity Education Group is seeking casual educators to support centres across the Newcastle / Hunter Area. You can choose hours and days to fit your schedule, with shifts accessible via a mobile app and no weekend work.

You will work between Monday and Friday during centre opening hours (6am–6pm), gaining experience across Affinity centres and the potential for a permanent position, with access to the Affinity Learning Academy.

Qualifications

• Completed a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Willing to travel between multiple services and be available on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Support educators across different rooms at the centre.
• Engage with children, families and team members.
• Assist with daily centre practices.
• Support educators with children's learning and documentation.

Join our team of casual educators and work across multiple Affinity centres, based in the Newcastle / Hunter Area Terrace area. Each centre has its own unique community spirit, and is led by an experienced and committed Centre Manager, supported by an Assistant Centre Manager and team of educators.

• A casual position where you choose the hours and days you work to fit in with your schedule!
• Ability to accept shifts via an application easily downloadable to your mobile device – accept shifts any time of the day!
• Work between Monday – Friday within the opening and closing hours of the centres from 6am to 6pm – NO WEEKEND WORK
• Competitive rates from $32 - $37 per hour + Uniform provided

You already have:

• Completed a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Willing to travel between multiple services and be available on short notice
• A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in a long day care service
