Job summary

Creative Garden Early Learning Centre - Coombabah, part of G8 Education Ltd, is seeking a casual Assistant Educator to join a supportive team. You will work with children aged 0–5, delivering engaging learning experiences and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates hold ACECQA Certificate III or Diploma, understand EYLF and NQS, have WWC and First Aid, and enjoy flexible hours with Above Award wages.

Qualifications

• Hold ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understand EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Proven sector experience with children 0–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering age-appropriate learning activities and play-based experiences.
• Support a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Collaborate with the team to implement EYLF/NQS aligned learning.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 101 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
