Job summary

Busy Bees Willetton is seeking a passionate Casual Educator to support a safe, nurturing learning environment in our Willetton centre. You will contribute to play-based experiences and daily routines under EYLF guidance, helping children feel secure and engaged.

The role offers casual hours with shift flexibility, ongoing development opportunities, and access to Busy Bees learning platforms. Prior WA childcare experience is valued, with required checks and certifications in place.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications as required.
• Working with Children Check WA is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards under NQS guidelines.

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Willetton on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for WA
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
