Job summary

St Philip’s Christian College is seeking a Casual Early Childhood Educator to join the Narnia Early Learning Gosford service. This role focuses on delivering quality education and care in line with the National Quality Framework and Centre philosophy, under supervision of the Nominated Supervisor.

Essentials include knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, curriculum development, teamwork, strong communication, and ongoing professional learning. Casual hours reflect service needs and rostered shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Curriculum planning and documenting children’s learning.
• Ability to relate effectively with children and families.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning.
• Willingness to be appointed as a Responsible Person.
• ACECQA Child Protection training (or willingness to complete).
• ACECQA First Aid certification (including required HLTAID012).
• Completion of mandatory Child Safe training (Part 1 & 2).

Responsibilities

• Provide education and care for children in line with the National Quality Framework.
• Collaborate with Educators, Room Leaders, Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor.
• Prioritise child safety, rights and best interests in all decisions and actions.
• Uphold the Centre’s vision, Biblical values and service philosophy in daily practice.
• Support development of curriculum and learning environments that foster exploration and growth.
• Engage families and communities and maintain professional conduct in line with policies.
