Uniting Early Learning, Springwood, Queensland is seeking casual educators to join our community-focused centre. You will help deliver a nurturing, play-based program in a nature-filled learning environment, engaging children through guided activities and observation-based planning.

We value teamwork, flexibility, and a passion for quality early education. ACECQA-aligned training, Blue Card, and first aid prerequisites are required; benefits include staff leave and professional development

Formación

• First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Suitability Card (Blue Card) for child-related employment.
• Knowledge of ACECQA framework and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to implement a well-planned early learning program.

Responsabilidades

• Support and assist in implementing a well-planned program, ensuring individual and group needs are met.
• Capture observations, assess learning behaviour, and create engaging indoor and outdoor learning havens.
• Guide children with care, empathy, and respect, fostering positive interactions.
• Care duties including welcoming families, supporting emotional needs and mealtime joy.
• Keep the learning space tidy with general cleaning tasks.

Located within the Calvary Christian College campus in Springwood, Kingdom Kids is a boutique 27-place early learning centre where children, families and educators are genuinely known and valued.

Our small service allows educators to build meaningful relationships with children and create learning experiences tailored to each child's interests, strengths and needs.

Children enjoy access to bush kindy, sensory play gardens, library visits, farm experiences and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning.

About the Role

As a Casual Educator, you will:

• Support children's learning through play-based experiences.
• Create nurturing, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
• Contribute to a safe, engaging and welcoming learning environment.
• Assist in implementing educational programs that support children's development.
• Observe, document and celebrate children's learning and achievements.
• Work collaboratively with a supportive and passionate team.

Requirements

About You

You are passionate about early childhood education and believe every child deserves a strong start to life.

You'll bring:

• A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.
• A current Blue Card for Child-Related Employment.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
