Job summary

Tradewind Australia is seeking enthusiastic Casual Early Childhood Educators, Educators and Assistants to join our flexible pool across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Work when you want, with the option to pick OSHC shifts in afterschool clubs and holiday programs.

To be eligible you’ll hold a VIT registration or Cert III/Diploma in Early Childhood, be committed to high-quality care, and enjoy working across multiple centers with supportive teams.

Qualifications

• Fully completed Early Childhood Qualification in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check (WWC) is required.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Do Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Foundation Training (Geccko) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities.
• Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Ensure health, safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences.

About the Role

Tradewind Australia is recruiting for Casual Early Childhood Teachers, Educators and Assistant Educators for a number of Early Learning Centres across the following areas:

Bunyip, Drouin, Warragul, Baxter, Carrum Downs, Somerville
