Job summary

Latrobe City Council in Gippsland, VIC is seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators (Diploma / Cert III) for casual roles in our Preschools. You’ll support play-based learning, build positive relationships with children and families, and collaborate with teachers to deliver high-quality programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Demonstrated ability to support the developmental needs, interests and learning of all children, including children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families and colleagues.
• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications and Compliance with National Child Safe Training (Geccko) (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote children's development and wellbeing.
• Building positive, respectful relationships with children, families and fellow educators.
• Assisting to create and maintain a safe, healthy and welcoming learning environment.
• Observing and contributing to children's learning and development outcomes
• Working collaboratively with Early Childhood Teachers to deliver quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with National Quality Standards.
