Job summary

Alpine Health is seeking a District Nurse Level 2 to provide client-centered care in the Alpine Shire. The role focuses on acute and community nursing within home settings and requires independent practice within an MDT. Weekend work may be required and the team emphasizes professional development.

Qualifications

The District Nursing Team is a valuable part of the Community Services Team and is responsible for providing clinical nursing care to clients in the community setting, within the Alpine Shire.

The role contributes to multidisciplinary assessment, care planning, and treatment to ensure that the clinical needs are met for clients within their own home environment.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of three years acute clinical and community nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Passion for Community Nursing.
• Experience in Wound Management, CVAD's, Palliative care, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, Stoma and Catheter care.
• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision within an MDT environment.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Prepared to work weekends as required.
