Job summary

SACARE is seeking Casual Support Workers in Victor Harbor, SA to provide person-centered in-home and supported accommodation care. You will work with a compassionate team to support clients with wellbeing, daily living tasks, and community activities.

Applicants should have Cert 3 in relevant fields, checks, training, license and ability to drive; the role offers varied shifts and opportunities for development within a nationally growing organization.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Workers Check.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Cert 3 in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or applicable fields such as nursing (nursing students encouraged to apply).
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current Manual Handling Certificate.
• Unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Current Assist with Medication Training.
• Current Basic Continence Aid Training.

Responsibilities

• Empower clients to achieve their goals and support wellbeing, personal care, and daily activities.
• Assist with housekeeping, meal preparation, and social outings.
